ARS/Rescue Rooter Celebrates National Volunteer Month
First recognized in April 1991, National Volunteer Month strives to encourage all Americans to make a difference in their communities by giving back. This 30-day celebration of service highlights the impact and benefits of volunteerism.
Now more than ever, non-profit organizations are looking to volunteers to help address their community’s changing needs. Many programs could not provide much-needed services without the help of their dedicated and inspiring volunteers. Although the pandemic has reshaped traditional involvement, people have found unique and creative ways to offer services and resources to help those most vulnerable in their communities.
Service is an integral part of ARS/Rescue Rooter’s culture, with our employees volunteering more than 10,000 hours in communities across the country since 2019. We focus on four pillars of philanthropic giving: Youth Outreach, Veteran Outreach, Athletics, and our own ARS Cares Program. We are especially proud of our partnerships with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Tim Tebow Foundation, and veterans’ associations.
