ARS Chicago Surprises a Deserving Teacher

In a commitment to serving their community, ARS of Illinois donated books, materials and a gift card to Oliver Wendell Holmes Elementary School first grade teacher, Ms. Harris.
 
Ms. Harris made a post on DonorsChoose.org for her “Making a Difference in the Community” project.  She wants to teach her students to learn about community helpers, community workers and different ways to make the community a better place.
 
With the help of Oliver Wendell Holmes Elementary principal Mr. McCauley,  ARS of Illinois was able to pull off the surprise to Ms. Harris.  Patrizia DeChiara of ARS was happy to help Ms. Harris with her project.  “Ms. Harris gives so much to our community by caring for our children and teaching them the importance of a strong community, we are so thankful to be a part of her story and to help build her classroom's library," DeChiara.
