5 Helpful Tips to get Back to School Ready!

The end of summer means back to school for kids.  It’s that time of the year when parents and kids start the school scramble of trying to make sure everything is ready to go for the important first day.  Whether your child is starting kindergarten or is preparing to go to high school, we have some helpful tips on how to make this time of year one of the best!

1. Inventory your child’s clothing and donate any items that you cannot use anymore. Someone will be very grateful you did!
2. Start the bedtime routine early! This way you and your child can get plenty of rest when school actually starts.
3. Shop at home before you shop at the store.  You may have more supplies than you think!
4. Children love field trips!  Take a trip to their school and ease any anxiety they may have before classes begin.
5. Remove any distractions from the homework area.  Fewer distractions make it easier for them to concentrate on their schoolwork.
