#ARSTinFor10 Off to A Great Start
We are announcing a community-driven campaign called “ARS Tin for 10” as part of our10 year anniversary this year. Tin is an important element for smoldering and bonding in the HVAC and plumbing business, and the “ARS Tin for 10” campaign intends to further bond ARS with the community.
ARS has made a huge footprint in Memphis and its other markets during its 10 years under the leadership of Don Karnes and Dave Slott. Since September 30, 2006, the company has found both major fiscal and community impact success. As part of the campaign, ARS is distributing ten promotional “tin cans” to local influencers, or those whom have been challenged. Collectors are tasked to have their can filled over the course of one month with monetary donations for “Night to Shine,” an event at Hope Church presented by the Tim Tebow Foundation. ARS has committed to donating an additional ten times the amount raised. ARS will also activate employees during this time to participate in “Night to Shine” volunteer opportunities that will be available in February for the event.
The list of chosen challengers include Memphis personalities including anchor Kontji Anthony at WMC-TV NBS, Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland, anchor Amy Speropoulos at Local Memphis Live, reporter Geoff Calkins at The Commercial Appeal, and award-winning Chef Kelly English. These donors and collectors are asked to promote the campaign with the hashtag #ARStinfor10. ARS will present the Tim Tebow Foundation’s “Night to Shine” at Hope Church with a check at the completion of the campaign.
