ARS Employees Shine Light on People that have Special Needs
Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 16 and older. The event has taken place every year since its inception on Valentine’s Day weekend. The Tim Tebow Foundation created Night to Shine in 2014, and has since seen noteworthy growth. The TTF has a great passion for people with special needs and wants to change Valentine’s Day from simply a celebration of love, to a celebration of God’s love.
Last year, NTS was hosted in over 200 churches, across 48 states countries. Those numbers have risen a remarkable 850% in 2017. However, the numbers aren’t the only aspect of the TTF that have seen growth. We are proud to announce ARS is the first ever Global Partner of NTS, a relationship that will ensure future success and help pave the way for continued growth of the event.
Our support will ensure the continued growth of Night to Shine and help with the foundation’s goal of making sure that every person with special needs knows that they are celebrated, valued and loved. In addition to our financial support, our employees all throughout the nation will be serving as volunteers at various Night to Shine host churches for the next few years.
This year, we had over 500 ARS volunteers sign up for Night to Shine at over 60 churches across the country. ARS Volunteers enjoyed being partnered with Kings and Queens and dancing the night away, cheering on guests as they sang karaoke or walking down the red carpet, limo and party bus rides, shining shoes and doing makeup, and making each and every participant feel loved and accepted.
