Team ARS Participates in the YMCA Corporate Games
YMCA Corporate Games is a team event that mixes healthy living and a little healthy competition among area organizations. For the fourth year in a row, the corporate office of ARS in Memphis, TN partnered up with the local branch, Conway Services, and assembled teams that played a variety of sports and games throughout the week.
In total, there were 44 other teams that participated in the 2016 games. Team ARS played kickball, cornhole, basketball, dodgeball, volleyball and participated in a triathlon. On Field Day, team members participated in tug-of-war, the water balloon toss, horseshoes, sack race, the three-legged race and the hopper ball race.
The Bartlett Youth Sports Cheerleaders were ARS’ official cheer team during the games. Employees also volunteered their time to cheer on their co-workers who participated in the events.
ARS completed the games with second place in the sack race and scored high in the three-legged race and cornhole. The team also won the Overall Spirit Award. In total, YMCA raised $51,000 for their programs throughout Memphis and the Mid-South.
