Will Fix It® Lends a Helping Hand to Local Food Bank

With the recent heavy rainfall affecting most of the state of Texas, the employees at our local branch Will Fix It® stepped in to help their community.  The local BBB contacted area businesses to help donate to the Hays County Food Bank as a lot of families were displaced and in need of food.

“My family and I live close to the area affected by the floods last month and after seeing and hearing about the devastation in Hays County, helping out the community was the right thing to do.” said David Henderson, the HVAC Sales Manager at Will Fix It®.  His team pulled together on short notice to raise food and provide volunteers.  The employees from the branch donated company vehicles and their time on a Saturday, to assist the Hays County Food Bank with the deliveries.

The Will Fix It® team came together and raised enough money and food to donate a total of 545 pounds! They drove out to the Food Bank that day to make the delivery. The people at the Hays County Food Bank were incredibly grateful and our team was incredibly happy to be of assistance!  David Henderson added “It was an honor to help the families in need and we hope that they will be able to recover quickly and piece their lives back together.”
