My AC stopped working and McCarthy services sent someone to check on it the same day -within hours. By the time the technician arrived we had already determined the problem. The technician was very helpful.

Marvin is an excellent technician. His inspection and diagnosis was spot on. Im not thrilled about the fact that we will have to purchase a new HVAC system, but I appreciate knowing the risk we will take if we do not immediately address the condition of our current system

A friend of mine shared their experience and satisfaction with McCarthy Services which influenced me to switch to McCarthy Services. So far, so good! I have been impressed with the courteous and professional customer service. Additionally, I am impressed with the efficiency of the business and how quickly appointments can be scheduled. It is my hope that this rapport will continue.

My wife and I recently moved to Alexandria and needed HVAC work done on our unit. Our technician, Gerado, was extremely kind and took the time to assess and fix our unit. As first-time homeowners, we had a few beginner questions, and he was more than happy to answer all of them without making us feel foolish for asking. He treated us with care and didn't rush to leave once the job was completed. We know that the next time we have any HVAC issues, we will definitely call McCarthy Services.

Excellent service from start to finish.Replaced old ac and old gas furnace with hybrid heat pump system. They moved old systems, put heat pump on other side of sunroom as requested and rebuilt furnace. Also gave good explanations to help us choose. Then good direction on how to use final setup.
Ps Would only suggest that multi calls/texts reminders and scheduling info not come from both of the company names. There was heavy overlapping. It was confusing.

I had an appt this a.m. to check my A/C unit it was not cooling. My tech, James was professional. He assessed the unit on the outside & discovered a nest of some kind of rodent. A rodent had gotten in my unit & ate up the wires. I cover my unit in the winter so I guess the rodent found a safe place. James explained my options repair or replace. Since my unit is 15 years old, it makes sense for me to replace @ this time. James is a great tech and helped me look at both options including cost to repair or replace. I paid for service call and waiting on sales person to arrive re: purchasing a new unit!

Malachi is a most personable young man. Though we did not have the tune-up done (because we are replacing the units), he did give us some worthwhile information. The fee was canceled.
